![]() Thats a bonus though? You buy the mog and u get tendies as bonus Comment by nozzlegear on T14:08:29-05:00 What a scummy move considering they used wowhead to post about tier sets being on trading post only a day or two ago. Ion lied to players in his interview and they're going to be doing things like this. I'm gonna buy this just because there's already 9 pages of wowhead comments about it lmao Comment by erro3 on T14:04:58-05:00Īnd so it begins. ![]() ![]() They won’t takae mah money blizzy - good- Don’t buy it. They did it in warframe, they do it in ffxiv and other games, come off it. Don’t buy it, stop, go outside, go to work, go do something cool. So now OW1 is literally dead, the servers gone, and in its place we have OW2 where almost EVERYTHING has to be purchased.Īn entire game ruined and a franchise now struggling while players continue to leave in droves (per the stockholder report) and THAT is from "just cosmetics." Comment by Eridian on T14:03:51-05:00ĭon’t buy it and come off it. But Activision, being their usual greedy selves, wanted to squeeze harder. Heroes are free, updates are free, you could even earn lootboxes for free. OW1 literally all cosmetics, not a single thing made any difference to player power. I gave you an example of this already happening with a Blizzard property. If this well-received and a year from now the TP item prices are so far bloated above what you can earn in a single month buying them is MANDATORY to obtain anything, what are you going to do then? Repeat they're just cosmetics? They're pulling a classic MTX move and so. You are not getting the implications whatsoever nor apparently play literally any other game in the world that does this MTX play. they were to ever monetize my power/progression, I'll be right there with you, pitch fork in-toe. Just like the countless other cosmetic items that have been for sale for years. But right now I just see a couple corsages available for a few bucks. Clearly the trees are blocking your view.Ĭould they turn the trading post into something worse (something tied directly to player power/progression)? Sure, I suppose. Now everything's monetized and you have to even frigging buy characters (or else grind 50+ hours per.) By welcoming that crap you set yourself up for further exploitation down the line. They still raked in mountains of cash but IT WASN'T ENOUGH for Activision. The game I PAID money for (a lot of money with the CE) now is no longer playable because they shut it down to force everyone onto it's MTX-riddled "sequel" that's worse in almost every way. You see that? THAT'S the result of people with attitudes like yours. I want you to take a good, hard look at Overwatch 2. If someone wants to pay $15 of their own money to wear a fricking corsage, what does it matter to you? Is it your money? Some of y’all are reaching so far into speculation with this that it’s comical. It has zero impact on your gameplay, power, progression, success, etc. After reading all these comments, I can't believe there are people in this comment section defending this money-grubbing technique Blizzard is pulling on us with this "bundle".
